Sedgeberrow

The village of Sedgeberrow, which lies some 4 miles south of Evesham, has its origins in Anglo-Saxon times; it is referred to in the Doomsday Book. However, the only remaining building of great age is the Church of St Mary the Virgin, built in the 14th century.
Sedgeberrow was always an agricultural village. In the early part of the 20th century, market gardening was the prime occupation, but most of the orchards have now been replaced by houses. There is a thriving First School, a pub (‘Queen’s Head’) and a village shop.
Sedgeberrow is beautiful village and a friendly place ……. and its drama group can be relied upon to produce a hilarious pantomime every winter!
