The Almonry Museum and Heritage Centre
Visit the Evesham Anglo-Saxon Treasure at the Almonry Museum Evesham.
The Almonry was once part of the original abbey of Evesham. The monk who lived there was called and Almoner and his job was to give food, clothes and medicine to the poor and sick of the town.
In the Museum we have 13 rooms of exhibits featuring Evesham’s history.
We also do special “one day events” for schools at a modest charge.
Our opening times are as follows-
Monday – Saturday 10.00am – 5.00pm
Sunday 2.00pm – 5.00pm (March – October)
