Situated in a Converted Mill, this Luxury Apartment is situated on the banks of the River Avon near the centre of the historic market town of Evesham. The apartment enjoys panoramic views of the river Avon yet is in ideal proximity to many attractions.
Accommodation
The traditionally beamed apartment is situated on the first floor within a small development adjacent to the lock keepers cottage. The spacious apartment is furnished to a high standard offering 2 double bedrooms - master with en-suite facilities, and a further twin room. The large lounge offers wall mounted television, DVD player, and selection of DVDs. A separate dining area, fully equipped Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher and fridge. Heating is provided throughout the apartment and is included in the rate. A children’s cot and bottle warmer are available, please advice before arrival as these items are not in the apartment all year round.
The apartment offers families the perfect base for touring the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham, Broadway, National Trust properties, along with many sports including horse racing, rugby, and cricket. Golf and fishing can also be organised by prior arrangement. Good transportation links are available locally and a car parking space is also available with the apartment.
A complimentary welcome pack is included including tea, coffee, milk and a guide to local attractions. The rate also includes all bed linen and towels.
Evesham
Evesham is an historic market town straddling the River Avon and sheltered by the Cotswold and Malvern Hills. It is the social, cultural and administrative centre for the surrounding Vale and its’ villages. It is approximately 100 miles from London and 30 miles South of Birmingham and close to both the M5 and M42 motorways.
Evesham boasts a wide variety of restaurants and pubs. It also has a museum, golf courses and sports centre. Other places of interest include a large riverside park that comprises the Abbey remains and Bell Tower. The town is the shopping centre for the surrounding villages and provides a varied selection of town centre shops and arcades together with a number of modern edge-of-town retail developments.
The town is ideally situated for touring South Worcestershire, Shakespeare’s Country and the Cotswolds. Cathedral cities and historic spa towns are all close by for exploration along with the many events that take place within the historic town itself.
